Foodaholics

Oh my goodness, we have been eating eating eating all day everyday! I'm sure I've gained at least 10 lbs, but it's worth it! Yesterday we started out our day by going to Shueng Shui to visit my grandpa. Two of my uncles came to eat dim sum with us as well. It was good seeing them! It was also good cuz i was able to try to Get some info on family history from my grandpa. Couldnt get much, but it was a start at least. I'm grateful to have so many of my family who made time to see me on my short visit back this time. I totally didn't expect my family to make so much time and arrange so many things to do with us, so it's been so nice to be spoiled by them. So after lunch, grandpa took us to the bank to cash the $6000 check, then went to visit grandma who was at work. After that we were on our way to meet up with my aunt and grandparents. We shopped a bit downstairs for food and got some yummy blueberry cheese and chestnut flavored ice cream, chestnut cake, giant Taiwanese meatballs and squid. Oh my! So much food! After stuffing ourselves silly, we tried going up to the peak to see the view, with no success. It was rainy and foggy so we couldn't see a thing. Andrea was able to get a bunch of souvenirs for her family though so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

We headed back down and met with uncle and Tiffany at the Elements for dinner at a Japanese place. Yum! Then we went and saw Star Trek, which I really liked. Who knew I would like star trek movies this much?

Today we started out by going to tiffanys school fair thing where she was performing the flute with her orchestra. We had fun stopping by all the little booths of the different countries. Then we headed to Chang Chou. We sampled a bunch of food there, like giant fish balls, potato chips on a stick, red bean filled pancakes, and sat down for snacks at a Thai place. We each got a whole coconut which was yum! Pomelo salad, chicken wings, kebabs, clams....came back around 6 and met up with Evan and my grandparents for dinner. It was Korean BBQ with Japanese beef. Soooooo good!! After the yummy dinner, we went up to the peak again to see the view since the weather was good this time. I think HK has one of the prettiest skylines in the world. Anyway, that was a long day!
